👥 Who: Troop 25 Scouts and participating registered adult leaders.

🎯 Why: Join Troop 25 for a weekend campout at S-Bar-F Scout Ranch. Scouts will practice outdoor skills, work with their patrols, and continue advancement. Permission slips and current medical forms are required.

Program Overview

  • Stay in the tree-house camping area at S-Bar-F Scout Ranch.
  • Practice patrol teamwork and outdoor living skills.
  • Use available time for fellowship and advancement activities selected by troop leadership.

What to Bring / How to Prepare

  • A signed permission slip and current medical forms.
  • Standard personal camping gear appropriate for the season.
  • Scout Handbook, water bottle, and any items listed in the final trip instructions.
  • Tree-house-specific sleeping or equipment guidance will be provided after the reservation details are confirmed.

Advancement & Service

The weekend is expected to support outdoor skills and rank advancement. Specific requirements and activities will be announced with the final program.

Registration & Logistics

  • Cost: $33.25 per person ($32.00 campout fee plus $1.25 Stripe processing fee).
  • Registration deadline: Reservations are due by the end of the Wednesday, April 21, 2027 troop meeting.
  • Transportation: Meet at the Sperreng Middle School parking lot at 5:30 PM for departure.
  • Travel uniform: Scouts should arrive at the departure or meetup location in full Class A (field uniform). Full Class A is expected whenever the troop travels together.
  • Packing list: Review the Troop 25 Camping Essentials Checklist → Trip-specific instructions may add to or replace items on the standard list.
