Program Overview
- Weekend camping at Swift Base, S-Bar-F Scout Ranch, 120 US-67, Knob Lick, MO 63640.
- Patrol teamwork, camp responsibilities, and outdoor skill practice.
- Invitational activities selected by the Scoutmaster and troop leadership.
What to Bring / How to Prepare
- A signed permission slip and current medical forms.
- Standard personal camping gear appropriate for the season and lodging type.
- Scout Handbook, water bottle, and any equipment listed in the final trip instructions.
- Do not rely on an older campout packing list; trip-specific guidance will be shared before departure.
Advancement & Service
Eligibility and the final program will be announced by troop leadership. No prior year’s qualification rules should be assumed.
Registration & Logistics
- Cost: $32.00 campout fee + $1.25 Stripe processing fee = $33.25 total online.
- Registration deadline: Reservations are due by the end of the Wednesday, February 17, 2027 troop meeting.
- Transportation: Meet at the Sperreng Middle School parking lot at 5:30 PM for departure.
- Travel uniform: Scouts should arrive at the departure or meetup location in full Class A (field uniform). Full Class A is expected whenever the troop travels together.
