👥 Who: Troop 25 Scouts and participating registered adult leaders.
🎯 Why: The 2026 Gravois Trail Fall PACAO is a First Responders and Military Camporee at Jefferson Barracks. Scouts will take part in hands-on activities, demonstrations, and interactive challenges focused on firefighters, law enforcement, EMS, the military, leadership, outdoor skills, and emergency preparedness. Registration closes October 8, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
Program Overview
- Participate in the Gravois Trail Fall PACAO program at Jefferson Barracks Park.
- Work as patrols while practicing teamwork, leadership, and outdoor skills.
- Meet and participate alongside other units from the district.
What to Bring / How to Prepare
- A signed permission slip and current medical forms.
- Standard personal camping gear appropriate for the season.
- Scout Handbook, water bottle, and the final event packing list when published.
Advancement & Service
Activities are expected to reinforce patrol teamwork and core Scout skills. Exact stations, competitions, and requirements have not yet been announced.
Registration & Logistics
- Cost: $33.25 per person ($32.00 campout fee plus $1.25 Stripe processing fee).
- Registration deadline: Reservations are due by the end of the Wednesday, September 30, 2026 troop meeting.
- Transportation: Meet at the Sperreng Middle School parking lot at 5:30 PM for departure.
- Travel uniform: Scouts should arrive at the departure or meetup location in full Class A (field uniform). Full Class A is expected whenever the troop travels together.
- Packing list: Review the Troop 25 Camping Essentials Checklist → Trip-specific instructions may add to or replace items on the standard list.
