Troop 25 Court Of Honor

A Court of Honor ceremony for Boy Scouts is a formal event where scouts, leaders, and families come together to recognize the achievements and advancements of the scouts within the troop. The ceremony typically begins with an opening flag ceremony, led by the color guard, followed by the recitation of the Scout Oath and Law. The troop leader or scoutmaster then presents awards, such as merit badges, rank advancements, and special recognitions for service or leadership. Each scout being honored is called forward, and their accomplishments are highlighted. Families are often invited to participate by pinning badges or insignia onto the scouts. Inspirational speeches or reflections by troop leaders and scouts themselves may be included, emphasizing the values and skills learned. The ceremony concludes with a closing flag ceremony and a call for scouts to continue striving toward their next achievements. Its a meaningful event that celebrates growth, hard work, and the spirit of scouting. COH will be followed by our normal weekly meeting.
