🪵 Troop 25 Campout – Beaumont (Lane Field) 🪵

Join us for the 2025 Gravois Trail Fall PA-CA-O, where scouts will test their skills in classic outdoor activities. Emphasizing the fundamentals of scouting, this year's event will challenge patrols with, teamwork, and creativity. Activities include the Knot Tying Challenge, crafting a Patrol Flag, lashing a Gateway, and showcasing a Patrol Yell. Earn points and compete for top honors while team building and mastering essential scouting skills. Don't miss this opportunity!

🔨 Why We’re Going:

Get ready for a hands-on weekend of Scout skills, teamwork, and creativity!

We’ll build a camp gateway, gadgets, and even shelters using lashings, knots, and pioneering techniques. It’s all about working together, learning, and having a blast in the woods.

🕔 How We’re Getting There:

Meet at Sperreng Middle School at 5:15 PM on Friday for a prompt 5:30 PM departure. We’ll set up camp that evening and launch into action Saturday morning!

💰 Cost: $31.00 Total

• 🍽️ Food: $18.00 (2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, snacks)
• 🏕️ Camping Fee: $10.00
• 🚛 Truck Fee: $3.00

🎒 What to Bring:

• ✅ Scout handbook
• 💧 Water bottle and cup
• 🍴 Mess kit (fork, knife, spoon, plate/bowl)
• 🛏️ Sleeping bag and pad
• 🧤 Blanket and stocking cap (it may be chilly at night)
• 🎲 Items for personal entertainment (no electronic games)

📈 Advancement:

This weekend is a great time to work on Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class requirements — especially pioneering and outdoor skills.

⏳ Deadline:

All sign-ups and payment are due to Mr. Sikorski by Wednesday, October 1.

Late sign-ups cannot be accepted due to council reservation deadlines.
