🌲 Troop 25 Campout – Tree Houses at S-F (Huck’s Cove) 🌲

📅 When: Friday, September 26 – Sunday, September 28, 2025

📍 Where: Tree Houses at S-F Scout Ranch, Nims Lake (Huck’s Cove)

👥 Who: All members of Troop 25

🎯 Why: For fun, adventure, and Scout spirit! We’ll be fishing, hiking, exploring the area, and spending the weekend in the elevated tree houses.

🚗 How:

Meet at Sperreng Middle School on Friday at 5:15 PM sharp to depart for camp.

We’ll set up for the weekend upon arrival.

💰 Cost (Total: $35.00):

• Food: $18.00 (2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, snacks)
• Reservation Fee: $14.00
• Truck Fee: $3.00

🎒 What to Bring:

• Scout Handbook
• Water bottle & drinking cup
• Mess kit (fork, knife, spoon, plate/bowl)
• Sleeping pad (treehouse bunks have plywood bottoms only – no mattresses)
• Items for personal entertainment (no electronic games)
• Fishing pole (optional, if you’d like to fish)

🧭 Advancement:

Plenty of opportunities to work on Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class rank requirements. This is a great time to check off some outdoor advancement items!
