What's New on the Troop 25 Website

📢 Announcement

📝 Details

We've made a number of improvements to the troop website over the past few weeks. Here's what's new for families:

  • Signing in is simpler. Enter your email and we send you a 6-digit code — no more magic links. You can sign in from a pop-up without losing the page you were on.
  • Event registration is easier. Instead of typing names, you pick from a list of your own Scouts and the adults connected to them. Signing up the whole family takes a few taps.
  • Permission forms are signed online. The BSA consent form (19-673) is filled in from Scoutbook, so you just review the terms, add any restrictions or allergies, and sign on-screen. You get a link to your signed copy. It's only required for campouts and adventure events — not regular meetings or Courts of Honor.
  • Adults: your Youth Protection Training is checked automatically when you register for an event, and the site tells you exactly what to fix if it can't be confirmed.
  • Payments are clearer. Event pages now show the full payment schedule — every installment, its amount, and what's already paid. “Due Now” totals leave out items still marked TBD, so the number you see is the number you owe today.
  • You can donate directly. A new donate page lets you choose your own amount and give in a couple of clicks.
  • Photo albums got an overhaul, with better organization and whole-album downloads.
  • A new “Join Us” section for families considering the troop: what we do, what it costs, what a first visit looks like, and a form to schedule one.

Questions or trouble signing in? Grab a leader at a Wednesday meeting and we'll walk you through it.
